Breakfast

Guests of the b&b can enjoy a breakfast included with the overnight stay (on request as an additional service for those staying in the apartments). Breakfast is served from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. at “Caffè la Posta” a short walk from our facility (Via Pellicceria 24/r, Florence).

Children under six are our guests if they sleep in bed with their parents; we can provide cribs upon request.

Sorry, we love animals, but our facility does not allow us to accommodate them as they deserve.

B&B services

Rates include: daily cleaning of rooms and facilities, daily change of towels, change of linens every three days, Italian breakfast, coffee and tea during stay, wi-fi, safe, heating, air conditioning, flat-screen TV, satellite channels, towels, bathrobes, slippers, courtesy kit, linens, daily housekeeping, toaster, kettle/coffee maker, mocha, 10% VAT. Rates do not include consumption at the mini bar and tourist tax payable locally.

Apartment services

Rates include: final cleaning fee, coffee and tea during stay, Wi-fi, safe, heating, air conditioning, flat-screen TV, satellite channels, equipped kitchenette or kitchen, towels, courtesy kit, linens, toaster, kettle/coffee maker, mocha, 10% VAT. Rates do not include change of towels and bed linen (only for stays longer than 7 days), tourist tax to be paid locally.

The facility does not have a front desk, but the staff is almost always present during the day.

Check-in and check-out

Notification of arrival time is recommended.
Check-in is from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., while check-out is from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. For those who need it, free luggage storage is available.
Upon arrival at our facility, valid identity documents (Passport or Identity Card) necessary for the registrations required by current regulations should be handed in. Failure to comply with this requirement constitutes a violation of the rules of the Criminal Code and authorizes us to request the immediate abandonment of our facility. Our guests’ data are processed in accordance with current privacy regulations.
For arrivals after 6 p.m. we give the option of Smart Check in independently. To enable us to send you information for Smart Check-in, we ask that you provide us with a valid email and a phone number that can be reached during your stay in Florence. info@cantodegliscali.com

Rules

Smoking is prohibited in the facility. It is strictly forbidden to receive visitors and additional guests other than those staying there. Canto degli Scali disclaims any responsibility for the loss, theft or/and damage of objects of Your property left in the rooms and for any damage to persons, animals or things from and to third parties. Any damages must be reported and compensated immediately to the facility manager. All charges in the event of customer defaults, including any minibar consumption will be applied directly using the credit card information provided by the customer at the time of booking. In case of loss of keys, guests are required l compensation. We are not responsible for any disservices due to total or partial lack of supplies such as Electricity, water, telephone line or internet connection that are beyond our control.

 

Environmentally friendly living

We are sure you will be perfect hosts, respectful of our space, our neighbors and the environment, however here are some tips and recommendations:
– use the toilets correctly and civilly, avoiding throwing anything into the toilet, remembering that there are appropriate bins;
– turn off lights and air conditioners whenever you leave the room;
– systematically close windows when the heating or air conditioning is in use and maintain a reasonable temperature in the room;
– do not leave battery chargers plugged in when not in use.
