The name of this apartment was inspired by the Canto de' Dadaioli located between Piazza della Repubblica and Via Roma, an area that formerly housed the Market Square. Here the dice game of Zara was a real activity, which was widely spread not only among artisans and peasants, but also rich merchants, young men from notable families, and even captains of militias. All of them, in spite of strict social hierarchies, raged, laughed, and blasphemed alike, and depending on the score they indulged in wrath or the most disheveled displays of joy.
