Breakfast
Breakfast is included only for B&B guests staying in Giglio Rosso, Giglio Viola and Ramerino. For guests staying in the Canto degli Scali apartments breakfast is available on request.
Breakfast is served from 8.00 to 11.00 am at the “Caffè la Posta” just a short walk from the complex (Via Pellicceria 24/r, Florence).
Children
Children under the age of 6 are our guests if they sleep in the same bed as their parents. Cradles are also available on request for children under the age of 2.
Pets
Sorry, no pets are allowed.
Restaurant
The “Cantinetta delle Terme” restaurant on the ground floor of the building offers our guests special prices if they book.
Hair Stylist and Urban Beauty
At “Ciro Via delle Terme” on the ground floor of the building our guests can enjoy a massage, have their hair styled or treat themselves to a range of beauty treatments, all at special prices if they book.
Transport service
Our guests can reserve a private transfer service for both their arrival and departure.
Home Shopping
Many of the items that decorate the rooms in the complex can be purchased simply by asking a member of staff.
B&B services (Giglio Rosso, Giglio Viola, Ramerino)
All rates are in euro and include: daily bedroom and bathroom cleaning services, daily towel change, a change of sheets every three days, Italian-style breakfast, coffee and tea during your stay, Wi-Fi, safe, heating, air conditioning, flat screen TV, satellite channels, towels, complimentary toiletries, table linen, daily cleaning, toaster, kettle/coffee machine, coffee pot, and 10% VAT. Rates do not include drinks or snacks from the mini bar or the Florence tourist tax.
Apartment services (Aranci, Banderai, Briga, Dadaioli)
All rates are in euro and include: final cleaning service, coffee and tea during your stay, Wi-fi, safe, heating, air conditioning, flat screen TV, satellite channels, a fully equipped kitchen or kitchenette, towels, Complimentary toiletries, table linen, toaster, kettle/coffee machine, coffee pot, and 10% VAT. Rates do not include towel or sheet changes (only for guests who stay for longer than 7 days), or the Florence tourist tax.
Access
The Canto degli Scali complex is located on the first and second floor of the building. Unfortunately, there are no lifts or mobility aids for the disabled. The stairs are the only access. Guests will also be given the keys to the complex so they are free to come and go as they like.
Staff
There is no reception area in the complex, but staff are always here during the day, and if they are not, they can be reached at any time by phone.
Check-in and check-out
Guests are kindly requested to tell us what time they will arrive.
Check-in is from 3 to 7 pm, whereas check-out is from 8 to 10 am. A luggage storage service is also available.
On arrival guests will be asked to show us valid ID (Passport or Identity Card) so that we can fill in the necessary registration forms. Failing to do this means breaking the law so if it should happen for any reason, we will be forced to ask guests to leave. All our guests’ personal details will be treated in full compliance with current privacy legislation.

Parking
Just 100 metres from the complex is the Garage delle Terme Exclusive where our guests can reserve parking spaces at special prices

Rules

Smoking is not allowed inside the complex, and no pets are allowed either. Inviting non-guests to visit or stay is strictly forbidden. Canto degli Scali accepts no liability for the loss, theft or damage of any personal property left in rooms or for damage to persons, animals or items by or belonging to third parties. Any damage whatsoever must be reported to the manager and paid for immediately. Any expenses that are left unpaid, including items taken from the mini-bar will be charged to the guest’s credit card using the details supplied during the reservation process. If guests lose keys they will be asked to pay for them. We cannot answer for any inconveniences, such as electricity blackouts, water, telephone or internet service failures that are not directly our responsibility.

Enjoy an environmentally friendly stay

We are sure you will be perfect guests who respect our rooms, our neighbours and our environment.
We would also kindly ask you to:
– use bathrooms and toilets in a civilized manner, which includes not throwing anything down the toilet, but in the bins provided;
– turn all lights and air conditioning off when you go out;
– close all windows when the heating or air conditioning is on and not exaggerate with room temperatures;
– disconnect battery chargers when they are not being used.

Reservations and payments

Reservations can be made through our online booking system (inserire link). All reservations must be guaranteed with one of the following credit cards: Visa, Mastercard, Diners Club or JCB. The balance can then be paid directly when guests arrive or via bank transfer, bank card, credit card or Paypal.

Cancellation policy

For ordinary rates, no penalty will be charged for cancellations made at least 7 days before the check-in date. Guests who make cancellations less than 7 days before or who simply fail to check-in will be charged the full sum of their reservation. Guests who change reservations at check-in, will also be charged the original sum. For special rates or offers, guests who make cancellations or fail to check-in will be charged the full sum of their reservation. Guests who change reservations at check-in, will also be charged the original sum.
